PENGARUH EDUKASI PASIEN DIABETES MELLITUS TIPE 2 TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN, EFIKASI DIRI, PERAWATAN DIRI: SYSTEMATIC LITERATUR REVIEW

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Peningkatan prevalensi pasien Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 (DMT2) menjadi masalah sangat penting didunia, apabila tidak dapat mengontrol penyakitnya maka akan terjadi komplikasi. Menghadapi kondisi ini pemberian edukasi menjadi penulis untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan melakukan aktivitas perawatan diri secara tepat. Tujuan penelitian: untuk mengeksplorasi literasi terkait dengan edukasi yang mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perawatan diri sehingga berguna sebagai arahan penelitian kedepannya. Metode penelitian: adalah systematic literatur review dengan mengidentifikasi artikel jurnal yang diterbitkan secara online terdiri dari bahasa Inggris antara tahun 2018-2023. Sepuluh jurnal terpilih berdasarkan kritera inklusi yang diambil melalui search engine PubMed, ScienceDierect, dan JSTOR. Hasil: 10 artikel yang telah dianalisis terdapat beberapa metode edukasi, media edukasi, materi edukasi, pemateri edukasi yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam melaksanakan perawatan diri secara mendiri dan tepat. Sehingga intervensi ini dapat diterapkan pada pasien DMT2 di pelayanan kesehatan. Kesimpulan: dalam penyampaian edukasi adanya lima poin penting dalam penyampaian intervensi edukasi pada pasien DMT2 yaitu metode edukasi, media edukasi, materi edukasi dan pemberi edukasi yang mempunyai kelebihan dan kekurangan. Namun mempunyai efek positif untuk peningktan pengetahuan pasien DMT2 dalam melakukan perawatan diri secara mandiri dan tepat.
