Hubungan Hambatan Komunikasi Terapeutik dengan Efektivitas Komunikasi Perawat ICU RS Royal Prima Jambi
Abstract
Komunikasi terapeutik merupakan bagian penting dalam asuhan keperawatan, terutama pada pasien paliatif dengan penurunan kesadaran di ruang Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Kondisi pasien kritis, penggunaan alat medis, serta lingkungan ICU dapat menimbulkan hambatan komunikasi yang berdampak pada efektivitas interaksi perawat dan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan hambatan komunikasi terapeutik dengan efektivitas komunikasi perawat pada pasien paliatif dengan penurunan kesadaran di ruang ICU RS Royal Prima Jambi. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah 10 perawat ICU yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner hambatan komunikasi terapeutik dan kuesioner efektivitas komunikasi perawat. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar perawat mengalami hambatan komunikasi kategori sedang sebanyak 6 orang (60%) dan efektivitas komunikasi kategori cukup sebanyak 5 orang (50%). Hasil uji Spearman Rank menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara hambatan komunikasi terapeutik dengan efektivitas komunikasi perawat (p = 0,021; r = -0,648). Semakin tinggi hambatan komunikasi terapeutik, semakin rendah efektivitas komunikasi perawat.
