PENGARUH KOSUMSI JUS JAMBU BIJI MERAH TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KADAR TROMBOSIT PADA PASIEN DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE (DBD) EFFECTS OF RED GUAVA JUICE CONSUMPTION ON INCREASED THROMBOCYTE LEVELS IN DENGUE HEMORRHAGIC FEVER (DHF) PATIENTS

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penyakit Demam Berdarah (DBD) menular melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti. DBD merupakan penyakit berbasis vektor yang menjadi penyebab kematian utama di negara tropis. Data Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan,  DBD di RSUD Dr. M. Zein Painan tahun 2019 berada diurutan pertama yaitu 284 kasus (5,5%). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy Exsperiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh penderita DBD di Ruangan Penyakit Dalam RSUD Dr. M. Zein Painan yaitu sebanyak 55 orang. Teknik Sampling yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 16 orang yang terbagi 8 orang kelompok intervensi dan 8 orang kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai rerata kadar trombosit pada kelompok kontrol  178.625 mcL, sedangkan pada kelompok intervensi  301.125 mcL. Berdasaran uji Hipotesis didapatkan p value = 0,003. ≤ 0,05. Disarankan kepada Direktur RSUD Dr. M. Zein Painan untuk dapat melakukan perawatan nonfarmakologi sebagai pendukung perawatan farmakologi yaitu dengan jus jambu biji merah.

ABSTRACT

Dengue Fever (DHF) is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. DHF is a vector-based disease that is the leading cause of death in tropical countries. Data from the South Pesisir Selatan District Health Office, DBD in Dr. M. Zein Painan in 2019 was first in 284 cases (5.5%). The type of research used is Quasy Experiment. The population in this study were all patients with DHF in the Internal Medicine Room Dr. M. Zein Painan as many as 55 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total sample of 16 people divided into 8 intervention groups and 8 control groups. The results showed an average value of platelet levels in the control group 178,625 mcL, whereas in the intervention group 301.125 mcL. Based on the hypothesis test p value = 0.003 was obtained. ≤ 0.05. It is recommended to the Director of RSUD Dr. M. Zein Painan to be able to carry out nonpharmacological treatments as a support for pharmacological treatments, namely red guava juice.
