MEMPERBAIKI PERMASALAHAN HARGA DIRI RENDAH PADA ANAK KORBAN PELECEHAN SEKSUAL MELALUI CHILDCENTERED GROUP PLAY THERAPY

Abstract


Permasalahan harga diri rendah mampu meningkatkan kerentanan pengembangan kondisi menjadi gangguan kejiwaan. Harga diri rendah mampu memengaruhi motivasi, perilaku fungsional dan kepuasaan hidup yang secara signifikan terkait dengan kesejahteraan di sepanjang kehidupan. Penelitian ini menggunakan empat orang siswi sekolah dasar kelas 4 dan 5 yang mengalami masalah harga diri rendah akibat menjadi korban pelecehan seksual. Orangtua mengeluhkan tentang kondisi subjek yang mudah menangis, menilai dirinya buruk, tidak percaya diri, merasa tidak memiliki teman sehingga selalu bermain seorang diri dan beberapa kali enggan ke sekolah. Hasil asesmen menunjukkan bahwa subjek mengalami permasalahan harga diri rendah sehingga membuatnya merasa buruk dengan diri sendiri, menilai diri gagal dan tidak layak. Pemberian intervensi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penghargaan diri pada subjek sehingga kembali mampu bersikap percaya diri, mampu mengomunikasikan pikiran dan perasaan dengan baik serta mampu menumbuhkan harapanharapan yang positif untuk dirinya di masa depan. Intervensi diberikan dalam bentuk child centered group play therapy. Hasil intervensi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam penghargaan diri yang ditandai dengan semakin mampunya subjek dalam mengomunikasikan pikiran dan perasaannya dengan baik, mampu bersikap percaya diri dan mampu memunculkan harapan-harapan yang positif terhadap dirinya.
