EDUKASI PENCEGAHAN NOMOPHOBIA PADA REMAJA

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Informasi dan teknologi komunikasi telah menjadi bagian yang tak terpisahkan dari hidup. Smartphone memfasilitasi individu dalam proses melakukan komunikasi dan memberikan tingkat mobilitas yang memungkinkan pengguna smartphone dapat dihubungi setiap saat. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang pencegahan nomophobia. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 7 Padang. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan memberikan pertanyaan seputar pengetahuan remaja mengenai nomophobia. Dilanjutkan dengan memberikan materi menggunakan power point dan memberikan leaflet. Semua remaja antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan ini terlihat dari banyaknya pertanyaan yang mereka ajukan. Kegiatan ini efektif dilakukan dalam peningkatan pengetahuan remaja dimana terlihat adanya peningkatan remaja sebelum dan sesudah mendapatkan penyuluhan yang terlihat dari kuesioner pre dan post test yaitu sebesar 9,84 point.Kegiatan ini merupakan langkah awal untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada remaja mengenai nomophobia.

ABSTRACT

Information and communication technology have become an inseparable part of life. Smartphones facilitate individuals in the process of communicating and provide a level of mobility that allows smartphone users to be contacted at any time. The aim of this activity is to increase teenagers' knowledge about preventing nomophobia. This activity was carried out at Padang 7 State Junior High School. This activity begins by asking questions about teenagers' knowledge about nomophobia. Followed by providing material using power point and giving leaflets. All teenagers were enthusiastic about taking part in this activity as seen from the many questions they asked. This activity was effectively carried out in increasing teenagers' knowledge where it was seen that there was an increase in teenagers before and after receiving counseling as seen from the pre and post test questionnaires, namely 9.84 points.
