LAWAN COVID-19: STIKES SYEDZA SAINTIKA SALURKAN HAND SANITIZER SEBAGAI WUJUD PENGABDIAN PADA MASYARAKAT

Abstract

Langkah awal Satgas Penanggulangan Dampak Covid-19 dalam menangani penyebaran Covid-19 ini adalah dengan pembuatan hand sanitizer. Ketersediaan produk pencuci tangan menjadi barang langka di tengah ancaman pandemi Covid-19.  Tujuan kegiatan ini yaitu melakukan upaya pencegahan COVID-19 melalui penggunaan Hand Sanitizer. Metode yang digunakan meliputi beberapa tahap yaitu tahap persiapan  yang meliputi penyiapan alat dan bahan, proses produksi meliputi pencampuran bahan-bahan menjadi produk hand sanitizer, dan proses pengemasan yang meliputi memasukan hand sanitizer yang sudah jadi ke dalam botol-botol kecil berukuran 20 ml serta labeling merek hand sanitizer, dan selanjutnya proses pendistribusian melalui klinik Medika Saintika.Adapun kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini yaitu civitas akademika sudah mampu membuat hand sanitizer dengan profesional, proses pendistribusian hand sanitizer berjalan dengan lancar, dan masyarakat puas dan terbantu dengan pemberian hand sanitizer secara gratis oleh Stikes Syedza Saintika dalam rangka upaya pencegahan wabah Covid-19.

ABSTRACT

The initial step of the Covid-19 Impact Management Task Force in dealing with the deployment of Covid-19 is by making hand sanitizers. The availability of handwashing products has become a rare commodity amid the threat of the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this activity is to make efforts to prevent COVID-19 through the use of Hand Sanitizer. The method used includes several stages, namely the preparation stage which includes the preparation of tools and materials, the production process includes mixing the ingredients into hand sanitizer products, and the packaging process which includes inserting the ready-made hand sanitizer into small bottles measuring 20 ml and labeling hand sanitizer brand, and then the distribution process through Saintika Medika clinic. As for the conclusion of this activity, the academic community has been able to make hand sanitizers professionally, the hand sanitizer distribution process runs smoothly, and the community is satisfied and is helped by providing free hand sanitizers by Stikes Syedza Saintika in the context of efforts to prevent the Covid-19 outbreak.
