HUBUNGAN PENGUNAAN TABIR SURYA DENGAN KEJADIAN MELASMA PADA WANITA DI KOTA MUARA BASUNG

Abstract


Melasma merupakan kelainan hipermelanosis yang banyak di jumpai di daerah Tropis , termasuk di Indonesia. Paparan sinar matahari mempunyai pengaruh besar terhadap penyebab  melasma. Pengunaan tabir surya topikal  mempunyai efek perlindungan terhadap terhadap terbakar sinar matahari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan kosmetik tabir surya dengan kejadian melasma di SMKN 2 Muara Basung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik melalui pendekatan Cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah guru wanita SMKN 2 Muara Basung yang berusia 30-55 tahun. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif, dilanjutkan dengan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan  56.1 %  guru wanita SMKN 2 Muara Basung yang menderita melasma dan 51.2% guru wanita yang tidak menggunakan tabir surya. Uji bivariat menunjukkan tidak tedapat hubungan antara pengunaan tabir surya dengan kejadian Melasma di SMKN 2 Muara Basung. P 0,162 < 0,05 .Angka kejadian melasma pada responden yang tidak memakai tabir surya (66%) dan (45%). pada yang  menggunakan tabir surya. Pengunaan tabir surya tidak  mempengaruhi kejadian melasma guru SMKN 2 Muara basung dan kejadian melasma lebih banyak terjadi pada kelompok yang tidak memakai tabir surya
