Ekspresi Trombosit, PDGF dan Fibroblas pada Luka Mencit yang Disembuhkan dengan Jus Jambu Biji

Abstract


Jus jambu biji merupakan buah kaya akan makronutrien dan mikronutrien, seperti vitamin, mineral, serat, protein, asam amino, dan antioksidan yang terkandung adalah likopen, asam askorbat, flavonoid, dan vitamin E, yang dapat berfungsi sebagai kofaktor dalam reaksi enzimatik penyembuhan luka. Selain itu, mudah diserap metabolisme dasar tubuh dan sebagai respons imunologis tubuh dalam proses penyembuhan luka pada fase inflamasi.

Penelitian ini menguji perbedaan efek pemberian jus jambu biji terhadap kadar PDGF, Trombosit, dan pembentukan Fibroblas pada lima kelompok tikus, lima hari setelah adanya luka insisi. Untuk mendeteksi sekresi kadar PDGF dan Trombosit digunakan uji ELISA. Sementara itu, pembentukan Fibroblas dideteksi secara histopatologis dan diamati menggunakan mikroskop cahaya dengan perbesaran 40 kali. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Anova (One Way).

Jus jambu biji memberikan manfaat pada kadar PDGF dan Trombosit. Meskipun secara statistik belum signifikan, terdapat perbedaan kadar PDGF dan Trombosit pada setiap kelompok perlakuan, tapi terbukti bahwa semakin tinggi dosis yang diberikan, semakin tinggi pula rata-rata kadar PDGF dan trombositnya. Dalam pembentukan Fibroblas, jus jambu biji terbukti meningkatkan pembentukan Fibroblas pada hari kelima pasca-cedera.

Jus jambu biji berpengaruh sekresi dan ekspresi PDGF, jumlah Trombosit, dan pembentukan Fibroblas selama penyembuhan luka pada tikus selama fase inflamasi pada hari kelima. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi dosis perlakuan, semakin baik respons yang dihasilkan pada kadar PDGF, jumlah Trombosit, dan pembentukan Fibroblas.
