Sistematik Review : Pengaruh Pemberian Madu Terhadap Luka Bakar pada Pasien Kanker dengan Radioterapi
Abstract
Pendahuluan : Kanker merupakan penyakit kelainan sel yang menyumbang angka mortalitas yang tinggi. Salah satu penatalaksanaan medis yang dilakukan adalah radioterapi karena dinilai minim komplikasi. Radioterapi sendiri merupakan terapi pemberian sinar dengan dosis tertentu untuk menekan perkembangan sel ganas dan menyelamatkan sel yang sehat. Keluhan pasien selama radioterapi adalah luka bakar. Perawatan luka bakar secara konvensional belum efektif untuk kesembuhan luka bakar. Tujuan Penelitian : Mengeksplorasi riset terkait pengaruh pemberian madu terhadap luka bakar pada pasien kanker dengan radioterapi. Bahan dan Metode : Pencarian artikel menggunakan media elektronik yang merujuk pada kata kunci yang spesifik pada 4 database jurnal terpublikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis Joanna Briggs Institute sehingga didapatkan 8 jurnal yang dianalisis. 4 artikel dari Pubmed, 1 artikel dari Sage, 2 artikel dari Science Direct, dan 1 artikel dari Semantic Scholar. Hasil Penelitian : Sebagian besar artikel menyebutkan pemberian madu sangat baik untuk kemajuan kesembuhan luka bakar paska radioterapi. Kesimpulan : Pemberian madu mempercepat proses kesembuhan luka bakar paska radioterapi karena madu memiliki kandungan asam tinggi yang berpengaruh terahadap koloni bakteri sehingga mencegah inflamasi memanjang, madu bersifat moisturizing sehingga menjadi protek bagi sel kulit sakit, dan madu kaya nutrisi kulit yang akan mempercepat proses epitelisasi, granulasi dan maturasi.
